These drawings developed from a fascination with intricate symmetrical designs I encountered as an undergraduate While I could ever maintain perfect symmetry the wandering line became its own language. The result is a stream-of-consciousness style of drawing that unfolds like meditation.

Images emerge organically — trees, female figures, animals, spiders, symbols and herbal forms — woven with spiritual ideas and personal experience. The drawings explore inner landscapes shaped by pain, healing, and transformation while moving through symbolic realms often described in spiritual traditions. What begins as a simple doodle becomes a map of my inner world.
